  9.       Thank you for trying "AUTO PRICE".
  10.  
  11.       I would like to encourage you to register AUTO PRICE.  When you
  12.       register the program, the latest update will be sent, and invoice
  13.       prices will be included.  The first entry of the make/model screen
  14.       will display invoice prices.
  15.  
  16.       To run "AUTO PRICE", switch control to the disk/directory containing
  17.       AUTO PRICE and type "AP".  This version of AUTO PRICE does direct
  18.       screen IO.  If you have display problems, you can start the program
  19.       with an "AP b" command.  This command uses BIOS for screen IO.  In
  20.       this mode the displays will be noticeably slower then the default mode.

  22.       If you want to put AUTO PRICE on a hard disk or a larger diskette, you
  23.       may simply copy the files to the appropriate directory.  If you have
  24.       660 k byte free space on disk or diskette you may combine the foreign
  25.       and US cars into one directory by following steps:

  27.           1.  Copy the latest version (either US or foreign) disk to
  28.               the new directory or diskette.  (exp. "COPY A:*.* C:\AP\")
  29.  
  30.           2.  Place the other version (US or foreign) into the
  31.               appropriate diskette drive.  Copy the files "*.91", to
  32.               the new disk/directory.  (exp. "COPY A:*.91 C:\AP\")
  33.  
  34.       Do not attempt to modify the data files.  Many of them have been
  35.       encrypted, and any modification to them may make them unusable.

  37.       Because of the time it takes to create the data base, there is no
  38.       plans to include trucks for 1991.  Trucks may be implemented in
  39.       1992.

  41.       Due to the size of the USA car data base, no EPA mileage or other
  42.       information is provide.  If it was included the file would not fit on
  43.       a 360 K diskette.

  45.       The current data base does not have all of the interactions
  46.       programmed into it.  It may be possible to select two conflicting
  47.       options, or some other contridictory conditions.  These
  48.       discrepancy will be corrected in time, but should not make the
  49.       program any less useful.  There is a override features that may be
  50.       used if the data base prevents a legitimate selection.
